T In The park
T in the Park is a major music festival of 3 days that has been held annually in Scotland since 1994. Currently the festival includes seven main stages of music.
In 2008, the organizers of Scotland’s T in the Park decided to use Stageco’s newly developed Boogdak XL, which is an innovative development on our existing Boogdak roof and 4-Tower system.
First used on the Bon Jovi tour of 2008, the Boogdak XL has a characteristic arched roof that drains rainwater to the sides rather than the front and the back. The new feature looks impressive and has significant operational advantages, keeping a greater area of the production dry in wet or stormy weather.
Use of the new structure allowed the festival to deploy a standard Stageco 18m Boogdak for its second stage, which, last year, was used in the main arena.
The feedback Stageco had from festival organisers and artists at T in the Park suggested that the Boogdak XL was a great success, providing a spectacular environment for the performers, while being hugely practical as well.
Today, T in the Park boast nine stages in total and attracts no less than 80,000 fans, making it one of the biggest festivals in the UK.
