When heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko defended his WBO and IBF World Championship titles against ‘Nigerian Nightmare’ Samuel Peter at Frankfurt’s Commerzbank Arena in September, a live audience of 43,000 saw the Ukrainian achieve a knockout in the 10th round. Commissioned by PRG GmbH, Stageco was in charge of building the grid construction above the two fighter’s heads. Stageco used a Super Roof grid with a 30m x 30m span at a height of 23m, and also built a scaffolding video support. The build-up was completed in two days while load-out took one day, with the team managing to work precisely to schedule.
